Multi-Tier Racking and Shelving Storage Systems

The Multi-Tier Racking and Shelving Storage Systems allow for maximum storage density for shelving and negates the need to purchase a mezzanine.  It is particularly useful for small parts storage and in environments where a high-speed picking operation is desired. A multi-tier storage systems is generally constructed using standard pallet racking and shelving components.  Shelving is constructed in the same manner, however the racks frames will be 5m+ high to accomodate atleast 2 levels. This height can be increased by however much available head room there is in your warehouse allowing approx 2.5m per level.  Walkway aisles are between 900-1200mm to...

Pallet Racking Installation

Racking is WM's  specialist area, we have the knowledge, expertise and experience needed to complete any racking installation.  As part of any installation you should expect (from us and anybody else) a method statement, risk assesment, detailed CAD proposal and certificate of conformity.  We want to make you completely happy that the structure we install for you is fit for purpose, and is installed in a correct and safe manner. Aswell as installing either used or new pallet racking, we can also relocate your existing pallet racking should you need to change it.  We can also help you with how...

Mobile Pallet Racking

Mobile pallet racking is by far the most space efficient racking system.  The racking itself is standard wide aisle pallet racking, however with the addition of mechanical bases to move the entire rack, either a length at a time or moving large sections of the racking. This eliminates the need for aisles between the racking thus massively reducing the footprint required.  This serves a dual purpose as you can condense your existing storage to take up as little as 50% of the original floor space OR nearly double the amount stored in the same foot print area. Key Features: Upto 90%...

Push Back Racking

Push back racking is another alternative to block stacking and offers even high degree’s of protection to the racking when compared to drive-in.  Push back racking allows the storage of multiple SKU’s to be stored behind one another, thanks to the gravity fed skids once a pallet is removed from the front face, the pallet behind will replace it giving you instant access. In situations where you are able to stock multiple identical pallets in the same run, pushback is second to none.  You will always have pallets so long as your stocked as the stock at the back replaces...

Drive In Racking

Eliminate damaged goods and pallets as a result of block stacking, drive in racking is almost as effective as block stacking but much safer and will massively reduced any damaged goods.  It is a high density system best suited to storing many of the same product or in chiller areas. Drive in racking is based on the first in – first out (FIFO) principle and you can go a number of pallets deep into the racking.  You do have the option of first in – last out (FILO) using the rack as a drive through system, however this requires you...

Double Deep Pallet Racking

This allows pallets to be stored two deep but still accessible from the same aisle. By reducing the number of access aisles and using the space saved to accommodate additional racking, a Double-deep configuration provides a highly space-efficient industrial storage system. Although the speed of access to all of the pallet positions is restricted, with an efficient stock management system this can easily be compensated for to take advantage of the benefits of more storage space. Double Deep Pallet Racking Key Features: Easy access to most pallets Increase floor/storage space with the reduction in aisles An alternative to traditional block stack Particularly...

Wide Aisle Pallet Racking

Easily installed, cost-effective and versatile, adjustable beam pallet racking is the most widely used of pallet storage systems and allows direct access to each pallet stored. With adjustable beams, the racking can be re-configured to accommodate changes in the type of goods stored and wide aisles allow access by all types of truck, making specialised handling equipment unnecessary. Key Features of Wide Aisle Pallet Racking: Fast Access to Stored Items Standard Handling Equipment can be used Able to store many different size, weights and awkward shapes.

Adjustable Pallet Racking

Adjustable Pallet Racking (APR) Birmingham, Midlands and throughout the UK APR is the most widely used of pallet storage systems, It can be re-configured to accommodate changes in the types of goods stored. APR allows complete access to each pallet stored and with wide aisles can be accessed by all types of  truck thus doing away with any specialised handling equipment. Drive-In Pallet Racking Birmingham For maximum utilisation of both cubic and floor space Drive-In provides a very high density and space efficient bulk storage system. Ideal for first in last out storage systems, pallets are stored on runners in the depth...

Modular Partitioning Systems

Partitioning systems are used in Warehouse, Commercial, Office and Retail premises either to distribute open space into more usable areas, or for the protection of products and staff.  Unlike traditional brick built or stud partition walls all of our systems are modular and can therefore be easily relocated. Whether you would like to create a Secure Mesh Storage for high value items or an office in your goods in area, a partitioning system from WM Storage will enable you to do this.  Thanks to over 20 years experience we can assure you of a High Quality Finished Product at a...
